A Little Bit About Me
I'm well grounded but certainly openminded. I've been told I look younger than my age. I'm chivalrously traditional yet modern. I am emotionally intuitive, affectionate, empathetic, trusting, loyal and romantic. I'm friendly with a sense of humour and like to have fun but can be mature and sensitive. I'm intouch with my femininity as much as my masculinity . I'm not dictated by culture but very much broad minded thinking outside the box. I certainly believe in spiritual integrity and it's the core of my character. Praying salah regularly is a source of calmness, mercy, forgiveness, comfort and hope.
I'm an architect working part-time and looking to taking an early retirement. Looking for a more relaxed and enjoyable life. By no means am I self centered or egotisticaI, on the contrary I take great humble satisfaction in being generous and thinking of others. l like volunteering by helping others in the NHS and doing charity work for the community.
I do live alone, very much used to it, happy in my own comfort. But seeking a friend a companion, a future spouse would be a nice thought. It's living on a prayer. However I don't believe in quick formal fix ups, instead prefer a more relaxed, unhurried and enjoyable approach, building an emotional trust, caring and loving bond totally in a halal way. It's about appreciating and understanding each other and connecting. It's all about the journey with a hope of marriage.
In regards interests, being a foodie enthusiast who enjoys cooking, it is important for me to be organised, domesticated and clean. I enjoy being homely who likes to lounge and watch something enjoyable on telly. Even though I do relish home food more, on occasions I like indulging out and going to the movies too. It's important for me to try and stay healthy by keeping generally fit by swimming, gym work, casual cycling, enjoying walks with short occassional breaks too. Spiritually, I have done Hajj Umrah previously many years ago but now completing an Umrah in Dec 2025/Jan 2026. Hopefully positive start to 2026 !
In regards to living arrangement with my future friend/ potential spouse, I'm easy with live-in or close distance relationship as it may not be convenient to live together straightaway. I understand there maybe many circumstances but I'm sure things can be easily worked out.
I do believe physical attraction and personality are important. However it's struggle to think we can ever get model looks and good personality together, but it's all about a fair balance. But I do think personality takes a slightly greater importance over looks.I believe it's essential to exchange photos early on in chat to picture who we are speaking too. It's simple honesty and etiquette. Need to have current photos too. I'm sorry I will only allow access to my photos after a chat.
